Sign Company Serving Victoria, TX and South Texas
Sign Works has built signs in Victoria since 1977. Our shop sits at 105 E Brazos Street. From there we build signs for eleven cities across South Texas. Our own crew puts them up. You deal with one team from the first sketch to the last bolt.
45 Years of Signs Across South Texas
Victoria is home. It was never the limit. Since 1977 we have hung signs on the square in Goliad. We have worked the plants at Port Lavaca. We have done shop fronts in Cuero, Yoakum, and Yorktown.
Forty five years in one region teaches you things. We know the sign codes. We know which county office to call for a permit.
That is the real reason to hire a shop nearby. A sign shipped in a box comes with no permit and no installer. When the light dies in year three, there is no one to call. We are an hour away at most.
Every sign is made in our Victoria shop. We do not farm out the build or the install.
Cities We Serve Across South Texas
Each city below has its own page with local examples and permit notes. Victoria is our home base. The rest are a short drive. That means one trip to measure and one trip to install.
Victoria, TX
Our shop and showroom sit at 105 E Brazos Street. Walk in, see the material samples, and watch your proof print the same day. Most Victoria jobs get a site visit inside 48 hours.
Beeville, TX
About 50 miles southwest, in Bee County. This is the longest run we make each week. Most Beeville work is big: pole signs and monument signs on US-181 and US-59. A sign out there has to read at 70 mph.
Bloomington, TX
About 15 miles southeast. It is still Victoria County, so it counts as a local call. Most work here is panel signs, yard signs, and truck lettering for farms and small shops.
Cuero, TX
About 28 miles northwest on US-183, in DeWitt County. Downtown Cuero is old brick, so a flat plastic box sign looks wrong on it. We use cut letters, blade signs, and gold-look window graphics there instead.
Edna, TX
About 28 miles northeast in Jackson County, right off US-59. Half our Edna work is shop fronts. The other half is site and safety signs for the plants along the highway.
El Campo, TX
About 60 miles northeast, in Wharton County. It is our longest haul, so we plan it as one trip. Lit cabinet signs and full truck wraps are the big sellers here.
Goliad, TX
About 28 miles southwest, in Goliad County. The mission brings tourists, so shops want signs that look old but still last outdoors. Carved and sandblasted looks are the usual ask.
Inez, TX
Only about 13 miles east, and still Victoria County. It is the closest town we serve outside the city, so same-week work is normal. Mostly gate signs, entrance signs, and fleet lettering for farm and oilfield crews.
Port Lavaca, TX
About 30 miles southeast on the bay, in Calhoun County. Salt air and hard wind change the build. We use marine-grade hardware and sealed housings there, not the cheapest panel that works inland.
Yoakum, TX
About 40 miles northwest, on the Lavaca and DeWitt county line. Yoakum has leather plants and a lot of small makers. So we do shop signs, wall graphics, and crew shirts there.
Yorktown, TX
About 30 miles west, in DeWitt County. It is our best served town outside Victoria. Six kinds of work have their own Yorktown page.
Gonzales, TX
About 60 miles northwest, in Gonzales County. The square keeps its old storefronts, and the county runs on agriculture. We print crew shirts, event banners and counter goods for both.
Hallettsville, TX
About 45 miles north, the Lavaca County seat. The event calendar drives the work here. Sponsor logos have to print clean at the size they are actually seen from.
Karnes City, TX
About 60 miles west, in Karnes County. Eagle Ford crews need hi-vis that holds its rating and labels that stay stuck to equipment. We spec the garment and the adhesive for that.
Corpus Christi, TX
About 90 miles south, in Nueces County. We take the volume work: crew apparel by the hundred, fleet graphics and corporate gifts, delivered on scheduled Coastal Bend runs.
Don't See Your Town?
We cover about 50 miles around Victoria, and further south for volume printing. If you sit near that line, call and ask. The answer is usually yes.
Why Towns Outside Victoria Still Call Us
Most towns near us have no sign shop at all. So the choice is us, a print-and-ship website, or a builder who hires the work out. We drive to all eleven cities on this page. Here is what that changes.
We come to you
We measure on site and install on site. We drive back out for warranty work. Beeville is our furthest town, and that is about an hour.
We pull the permit
Each city and county here writes its own sign code. We file the paperwork in all eleven. Your sign stays legal.
One shop, every service
Store signs, banners, window film, truck lettering, and staff shirts. One vendor and one invoice. Your logo matches on all of it.
How We Work With Out-of-Town Jobs
Being in another town should not mean more phone tag. These are the same four steps we run in Victoria. You only need to be free twice.
1. Consultation
Call us, email photos, or we drive out. We set the budget and the date. We check your city sign code before anyone draws a thing.
2. Design and Proof
You get a to-scale proof by email. Change it as often as you like. Nothing gets built until you say yes.
3. We Build It
Made in our Victoria shop with commercial-grade stock and UV inks rated for the Texas sun. No outsourcing.
4. Delivery and Install
Our crew hauls it out, pulls the permit, and hangs it. We clean up before we leave. One trip, set around your open hours.
Towns We Also Cover
The eleven cities above have their own pages. That is where most of our work sits. But our range is about 50 miles around Victoria, and we go further for the right job. We build and install in Gonzales, Hallettsville, Karnes City, and Corpus Christi too, plus the small towns in between.
Big jobs are worth a longer drive. A monument sign. A fleet wrap. A rebrand across five sites. We quote those anywhere in South Texas.
If you sit outside the range, travel gets added to the price. We tell you what it adds before you sign.
Send us your town and what you need and we will say yes or no straight away.
Every Service, In Every City
Our service area does not come with a shorter menu. What we make in Victoria we make for every town on this page. Same stock, same warranty, same crew hanging it.
The shop is at 105 E Brazos St, Victoria, TX 77901. Walk-ins are welcome. Every sign on this page gets built there.

Service Area FAQs
How far from Victoria will you go?
Our normal range is about 50 miles. That covers the eleven cities on this page, plus Gonzales, Hallettsville, Karnes City, and Corpus Christi. For big jobs we go further. Tell us where you are and we will be straight with you.
Do you charge extra to come to my town?
Not inside 50 miles. Travel is already in the quote, with no surprise mileage line at the end. Past 50 miles we tell you the travel cost up front.
Do I have to drive to Victoria to start?
No. Most out-of-town jobs start with a call and a few photos of your building. We come out to measure, then again to install. You are welcome at the shop if you want to see stock in person.
Who pulls the permit, you or me?
We do. Every city and county here sets its own rules on size, height, lights, and setback. We file the paperwork and keep the sign legal.
Does it take longer if I am not in Victoria?
Build time is the same. Installs in far towns get grouped into one planned trip, which can add a few days. Most signs are ready in one to three weeks.
Do you install, or just build and ship?
We install. Our own crew hangs every sign, in all eleven towns. We do not hand you a sign and a wrench.
What if my sign needs a repair later?
Call us and we drive out. A dead LED in Port Lavaca is a drive for us, not a freight claim for you.
My town is not listed. Can you still help?
Most likely yes. The listed cities are just the ones we work in often enough to have a page. Call (361) 578-6202 with your town and we will answer on the spot.
Can you handle more than one location?
Yes, and it is a good reason to use us. One shop in Victoria builds all of them, off one color formula. Three separate local vendors rarely match.
Will my sign hold up on the coast?
It will if we build it for the coast. Port Lavaca and the bay towns get salt air and harder wind. So we use marine-grade hardware and sealed housings there. Inland towns do not need that, and we do not charge you for it.
Do you wrap vehicles outside Victoria?
Yes. Wraps have to go on indoors in a clean space, so trucks come to our Victoria shop. Most wraps are a one-day drop-off.
Can I get banners and shirts as well as signs?
Yes. Banners, printed shirts, promo items, and branded office supplies all come from the same Victoria shop. That is why your logo matches on all of them.
Do you work with churches and schools?
Every week, in all eleven towns. Marquee signs, gym banners, event signs, and field signs are a steady part of the work.
Can you match a sign at my other store?
Yes. We use digital color matching to hit your brand colors. A new sign in Cuero will read as the same brand as the one already up in Victoria.
How do I get a quote for my city?
Call (361) 578-6202 or send us a message. Give us your town, the kind of sign, and a photo of the spot. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.
Need an Outdoor Sign in Victoria?
Eleven cities. One shop. 45 years of doing it. Tell us your town and what you need. We handle the design, the permit, the build, and the install.
